what’s Blue Violet about?
OUR BACKGROUND
Blue Violet was established in 2004 by Anne Ward, and is based in Newmarket, UK — close to the ‘silicon fen’ hi-tech area that surrounds Cambridge.
Anne has been building websites since the late 1990s and has built her business on the foundations of more than 6 years’ experience with a major scientific publisher, followed by a spell at a London web development and design agency, where her main responsibilities included logo design and site planning.
Subsequently, she worked as in-house designer for a pharmaceutical plc, where she was responsible for all design issues, ranging from website development through to the design and layout of the company’s annual report, and design, editing and production of the company’s internal e-newsletter.

Blue Violet attracts a client base from widely varying types of business, many of whom come to us as the result of referrals from existing customers. We aim to deliver a personalised product to each client, based on individual needs and preferences, and work with you to create the right result for you, taking time to get to know you, and understand your business and its market.
